At Mary Margaret Designs, we create more than dorm rooms — we create a first home away from home.

As our company continues to grow, we're expanding our internship team to support our busiest season of the year. Beginning July 22, interns will work alongside our design team through project coordination, local logistics, and move-in day installations, gaining hands-on experience in both interior design and business operations.

From concept to completion, interns play an active role in helping bring our custom dorm designs to life.

College Credit.

Responsibilities

Interns may assist with the following:

  • Beginning remote project support starting July 22

  • Participating in weekly design meetings and project updates

  • Assisting with organization and communication for assigned dorm projects

  • Coordinating local storage units and deliveries

  • Picking up furniture, décor, and supplies from local vendors when needed

  • Helping prepare inventory and installation materials before move-in

  • Assisting with styling, decorating, and installing dorm rooms

  • Supporting the Mary Margaret Designs team during move-in week

  • Collaborating with our designers to ensure each installation runs smoothly.

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

  • Are current college students or recent graduates

  • Live near one of our partnered universities

  • Have reliable transportation

  • Are available beginning July 22 for project coordination and updates

  • Can assist during move-in week at their local university

  • Have an interest in interior design, styling, marketing, or creative business

  • Are organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Enjoy taking initiative and solving problems
